Extended Service Warranty Options

Wammoth Services is proud to offer extended warranty options for our gas fireplace full service and major repairs.  While we offer a 7-day service warranty on every gas fireplace full service and major repairs, we recommended choosing one of our additional service warranty options to provide more peace of mind.

During the warranty period, you receive benefits such as service visits at no charge, additional visits at a deeply discounted rate, discount on repairs and replacement parts and of course, priority service and scheduling.  We recommend this option for customers with older gas fireplaces, fireplaces that have not been maintined or service regularly over the years, fireplaces that have had repairs, new home purchases with no knowledge of the gas fireplace history or simply the assurance that we have you covered during the winter season.

Service Appointment Options and Fees

We offer several options to schedule your appointment with your convenience in mind.

A standard appointment date is provided at time of scheduling/appointment confirmation but will not include an estimated arrival window or timeframe.   We will provide an estimated (but not guaranteed) 2-3 hour arrival window the day before the service appointment via the reminder email.

We strongly encourage our customers with hectic schedules, limited or specific availability, or whp\o simply want an old fashion scheduled appointment to take advantage of one of our appointment options.  We may assess you a reschedule fee, or cancellation fee and/or a nonrefundable deposit to confirm your appointment in the event the appointment is requested to be rescheduled or cancelled more than one time and/or within 1 business day of the scheduled appointment date.

Extended Call Before Arrival

Our technician will normally call 5-15 minutes prior to arrival.  For an additional fee - we will call you prior to arrival at a timeframe you select (up to 2 hours prior to arrival)

Timeframe Specific

You may select a morning arrival (9am - 1pm) or an afternoon arrival (12noon - 4pm) at the time of scheduling your service appointment instead of receiving an estimated arrival window the day before your appointment.  A more general timeframe but a less expensive option than our preschedule appointment window.

Early/Late Arrival

We offer a scheduling option a bit beyond our normal service hours (9am-4pm).  Choose either an Early Arrival (8am - 10am) or a Late Arrival (4pm -7pm).

Prescheduled Appointment Window

For a fee, your appointment may be scheduled on a specific date or weekday with a one hour arrival window upon our confirmation of your appointment.  Your appointment will not change.  Deposit may be required.

There is an additional $50 charge for Saturday appointments or appointments that extend beyond our Early/Late Arrival option.

Priority Scheduling

For appointments that require immediate scheduling, we will schedule your appointment within 1-3 business days - no matter how far we are scheduled in advance.  Deposit required.

Additional Fees and Charges

Excessive Cleaning Fee

Fireplaces that have not been serviced or maintained regularly or are excessively dirty, may be charged an additional fee

Multiple Glass Panes (Direct Vent Unit)

There is a $25 per glass pane as an additional cleaning fee for direct vent units and some ventless or B-Vent units that have multiple glass panes.  This fee does not apply to standard glass fireplace doors (like bi-fold doors).

Travel Fee

We charge an additional $50 travel fee if the service location is beyond our regular service area.  Discounts or promotional rates are not valid outside our service area.

Fuel Surcharge

There is a fuel surcharge added to each appointment scheduled and based on your service address

Seasonal Fee

A seasonal fee is added from September 1st through March 31st.  This fee will vary based on our peak and off season.  October through December will have a higher fee while summer months will not have this fee

Other Service Costs

Additional charges apply for including, but not limited to; extensive repairs, replacement parts, servicing or cleaning that is not in the normal course of the appointed service, excessive diagnostic investigation, vent clearing, ladder use, gas leak repairs, complete or excessive replenishment of fireplace media, installation assessment, reassembly of a disassembled unit, and other situations that are not considered a normal course of service.  Technician will advise you of any additional costs at the time of your appointment.
